Whats the deal with our government
Okay, this is really beginning to bug me. I used to not really care about politics but as I have er… matured I find I want to more about what uncle sam is doing with my tax money. How my representatives are representing me and what our government is doing.
It seems to me that Illegal Immigration is really coming to a head. Never before have so many Americans felt so disconnected from their government. According to a Rasmussen Report, 72% of Americans think that it is very important that our government improve its enforcement of the borders and reduce illegal immigration.
What does our REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC decide to do? Try to pass amnesty, not once but twice. Bush keeps trying to sneak the NASCO (North American Super Corridor Coalition) though. Why is it that all our representatives do not represent us.
The last straw for me just happened. Now that there have been a few high profile immigration busts and our governement is trying to make employers require valid documentation; Mexican president Felipe Calderon has said that he does not think that we should not be enforcing our border.
What??? It’s our damn border, if we want to build a wall then we will. As far as I know there is no covenant controlled community for us to submit plans to first. For all those who think we cannot build a wall or lock down our border I think you need to crack some history books. Berlin wall, SOSUS net the Mexican southern border??
We taxpayers have footed a one trillion dollar bill to secure ourselves from terrorists. However, terrorists can fly into Mexico and walk into America. Anybody else see a problem with this? I know, I did not mention Canada, but they are not nearly as corrupt as the Mexican governmental system. You actually have to have ID to get into Canada, in mexico you just need a Benjamin.
I have been listening to the same talk radio show in the morning for about 10 years. Lately, there has been a startling change, more and more people are calling in and talking about an armed uprising. Thats right, a revolution. Where does this come from? The answer is simple, the voters feel powerless. It does not matter who we vote for we get the same load of BS.
Is this where it’s all headed? to a revolution. Dear God I hope not. But I have had these thoughts as well, I feel like our government no longer works for us. Instead, we work for the government. We the people need to stand up and take charge again. Our checks and balances are no longer working, they need tuned.
Do the Representatives realize what is going on? Do they care? Where our our legislators acting on our behalf? It’s time they stopped voting along party lines and started voting for us. They are selling us out and more importantly they are selling our children out.

Right on!!! Seems to me like we need to clean house of ALL the Senators and Reprsentatives. Why are they trying to give amnesty to the illegals (definition of illegals-those who have broken the law) who gave up any right to anything when they broke the law. It is scary to hear about revolution in our country and I pray it does not come to that because it will be a sad scenario for precious country.

If our Senators and Representatives spent as much time working on what they are there for things would be much better. I am sick of each party spending so much time on trying to find things to condemn the other. We need to find a way to put a stop to this. They are too preoccupied with looking for something scandalous on each other. So much wasted effort and time–which ends up costing us, the taxpayers. The other thing that needs to stop is the special interest nonsense that goes on in DC. They undermine any good that could be done. It should be illegal to add things to bills that have no relationship what so ever to the original bills.
